On March 18, the Investigation Police Agency, Vinh Long Provincial Police, said that the unit is coordinating with local police to conduct a review and search for the whereabouts of a man whose identity is unknown and died in the area.
Previously, at around 2:20 p.m. on March 17, Mr. Le Thanh Phong (born in 1983, residing in Tan Phu Hamlet, Tan Hoa Ward, Vinh Long City) was searching for a honey bee nest in a plot of land in Vinh Hoa Hamlet, Tan Ngai Ward, Vinh Long City when he discovered a person dead in a hanging position, so Mr. Phong went to the police station to report.
Upon receiving the information, professional units and the Provincial Police organized forces to examine the scene and conduct autopsies.
It is known that the male body was in the process of decomposition, aged from about 50 to 55, with short hair, and a height of about 1.65 meters. The victim was wearing a short-sleeved black shirt and blue pants.
