On August 13, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that, implementing the plan to upgrade and update new forms and regulations according to decrees related to administrative sanctions of the Traffic Police Department, the Administrative Violation Handling System will be temporarily suspended from 6:30 p.m. on August 13 to 6:00 a.m. on August 18, 2025.
"The temporary suspension of the Administrative Violation Handling System is force majeure to improve the operational efficiency of the system and better serve the people. After this time, the system will operate normally," the Traffic Police Department announced.
During the above time, the Traffic Police Department requested people to limit coming to handle violations (XLVP) during the above time.
In case people come to handle violations, the Traffic Police units will use pre- printed forms to handle administrative violations in the field of road traffic to comply with regulations.
After handling the case, the Traffic Police will send a notice of handling results to the inspection agency to remove warnings for the vehicle and update it to the Violation Handling System when the system is back updated.
