According to the directive document, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province requested to stop all activities related to investment in the construction of the Experimental Station for clean water treatment system in Ha Yen commune (now Yen Duong commune, Ha Trung district).
Organize to handle violations according to authority, at the same time review and clarify the responsibilities of related individuals and organizations for the existing problems of the project regarding planning management, investment, production and trading of clean water without permission from competent authorities, and improper use of land.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, previously in 2021, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province also decided to revoke the investment policy, suspend operations, and withdraw licenses due to the discovery that the records of Ha Trung Clean Water Environment Construction and Trading Service Co., Ltd. showed signs of violations.
After that, the People's Committee of Ha Trung district also issued a notice to stop developing water supply infrastructure until further instructions. However, this unit still continued to sell water to the people.
Regarding the recent incident, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province requested relevant agencies and Ha Trung district to take action and report to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province before September 15.
