On March 18, An Khe Ward Police, Da Nang City coordinated with the Mobile Forest Protection Team and Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting No. 2 (Da Nang City Forest Protection Department) to release a rare brocade python into the natural environment.

Previously, at about 7 pm on March 17, people in group 42 Hoa Phat, An Khe ward discovered a large python crawling into a residential area. The python was quickly controlled by people and reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the report, An Khe Ward Police were present, coordinating with the forest rangers to approach the scene and bring the animal for inspection. Through identification, this is a brocade python - a rare wild animal, about 3.5m long, weighing nearly 16kg.

After completing the necessary procedures and ensuring safety conditions, functional forces proceeded to release the python back to the forest on the morning of March 18.
According to functional agencies, the appearance of wild animals in residential areas may be due to the narrowing of the living environment or lack of food sources. People when detecting similar cases need to maintain a safe distance and immediately report to functional agencies for timely handling.
