On April 25, Transerco announced its plan to serve public passenger transport by bus during Hung Kings Commemoration Day (March 10), Southern Liberation Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1.
In order to better meet the travel needs of the people before, during and after the Hung Kings Commemoration Day, Southern Liberation Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1 this year, Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) announced that it will maintain the current bus schedule throughout the network during the holidays. The total number of planned trips is 64,133 trips.
Along with that, Transerco's affiliated units proactively prepare sufficient manpower and vehicles, ready to increase passenger clearance at bus stations and transfer points as required by state management agencies.
Transerco plans to arrange 18 backup vehicles with nearly 50 additional trips on 9 bus routes connecting bus stations and transfer points.
To ensure the quality of passenger service during the holidays, Transerco requests its affiliated units to organize scientific operation, assign reasonable duty shifts to promptly relieve passengers at assigned locations; be proactive in operation, ensure stable routes and maintain service quality indicators.
Units should perform well in environmental sanitation, unit decoration, and strengthen patrols and protection. Pay special attention to fire and explosion prevention and control on the route and at the unit. Ensure political security, social order and safety, traffic safety, maintain stable production activities, and serve the people during the holidays.
