Building 2 houses of gratitude for poor households in sugarcane material areas in Gia Lai

Gia Lai - In the largest sugarcane material area in the country, poor households with difficult lives are supported by factory representatives to donate houses of gratitude.

On April 24, the grassroots Trade Union of An Khe Sugar Factory said that it had just organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build gratitude houses for people in difficult circumstances in the commune.

The two households supported this time are Ms. Bui Thi Hong Nga (born 1984, hamlet 2) and Mr. Nguyen Xe (born 1949, hamlet 7). Both are poor households in the hamlet. Each house of gratitude is supported by An Khe Sugar Factory with 60 million VND/house.

In addition, the locality mobilized mass organizations to contribute working days; and at the same time mobilized families to contribute more from savings and loans from the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to build a spacious house.

Being supported to build gratitude houses this time is a source of encouragement, helping families stabilize their lives, feel secure in their lives, and rise out of poverty.

For many years, communes such as Dak Po, Kbang, Kong Bo La, An Khe, Kong Chro, To Tung... have been sugarcane material granaries supplying sugar factories.

The factory's social security activities aim to build solidarity and help the poor rise up in life.
