On January 12, Da Nang City People's Committee said that it had issued Official Dispatch No. 189/UBND-KT on handling housing and land facilities after arranging the organizational structure and administrative units in the area.
According to statistics, the city currently has 7 redundant houses and land after the merger that are still being processed. The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested agencies, units, and localities to focus on synchronously implementing key tasks, clearly defining responsibilities for each stage.
For facilities of houses and land that have not been completed for handling according to legal regulations, the Department of Finance is assigned to urgently carry out necessary procedures, advise on handling plans according to its authority. For facilities that have been approved for handling decisions, the Department of Finance presides over guiding and urging assigned units to receive and manage, quickly develop exploitation or handling plans to soon put assets into effective use.
The exploitation and handling of house and land facilities shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 186/2025/ND-CP. Cases transferred to local management must fully comply with the order and procedures according to regulations, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
The City People's Committee also requested to review all houses and land that have been temporarily handed over and received to complete procedures within the prescribed time limit. In case of delays, failure to complete the handover, accounting, and management, heads of relevant agencies and units must be responsible to the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
In parallel, the city will establish inspection teams to supervise the arrangement, arrangement, and handling of headquarters and public assets at agencies and units. Facilities that continue to be used as headquarters or non-business establishments must be reviewed to ensure compliance with standards and norms. The area exceeding the norm, if any, must be handled according to regulations.
Decisively resolving redundant houses and land after arrangement is identified as a key task, contributing to improving the efficiency of public asset management and land resource use of the city.
In case it is more than 30 days from the date of the Decision on asset handling; agencies, units, and localities assigned and receiving assets do not complete the procedures for assignment, receipt, accounting, management, use, and handling of those assets, the Director of the Department of Finance, Heads of agencies, units, and localities shall be responsible to the Chairman of the City People's Committee. Deadline for completion before January 30, 2026.
