Lao Cai Provincial Convention Center shines ahead of the Historic Congress

According to the reporter's observations, the project is located on the land area of the Conference Center, the Sports Training and Competition Center of the old Yen Bai province, with an investment capital of more than 440 billion VND.

The project started on December 26, 2023, with the Lao Cai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 1 as the investor, and was completed on September 21.

This is a level II project, 4 floors high (including 3 usable floors and 1 technical floor), construction area of 6,650m2, total floor area of 11,620m2. The technical floor of 580m2 is arranged for mechanical systems, sound and light control.

The function is arranged into 3 main functional blocks, including the hall block with the main meeting room and functional rooms, the restaurant block, the event organization block includes a large party room...

In addition, there are internal dining and service areas, management blocks, administration and auxiliary blocks (including functional departments, kitchen areas, warehouses, parking areas, toilets, etc.).

As soon as it was completed and put into use, local leaders and relevant agencies conducted a survey, evaluated and selected this as the place to organize the first Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress after the merger.

This is also the first event that this center has hosted.

On the evening of September 26, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee conducted a comprehensive assessment and general approval of the Program of the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
