The items of excavation, foundation embankment, road surface construction, culverts and drainage systems are being implemented simultaneously.
To date, more than 14km of foundation and road surface of the route have been completed. At the locations where the site has been handed over, contractors are focusing manpower and equipment to speed up progress.
In Ta Khoa commune, more than 8km of foundation and road surface have been constructed. Many items such as culverts, drainage ditches and foundation treatment are also being implemented.
Meanwhile, in Yen Chau commune, more than 6km of road surface has been completed. The entire site of the route passing through the commune has been cleared, creating conditions for contractors to focus on construction.
The Km0 - Km16+200 section through Yen Chau commune has a total investment of more than 312 billion VND. The starting point of the project connects to Chu Van An road, sub-area 3/2, the ending point is in Pa Sang area, Doan Ket village.
Contractors maintain construction in 2 shifts/day, proactively arrange manpower and equipment in accordance with the site handover schedule.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc - Director of Tien Anh Construction and Trading Co., Ltd. - said: "Where the site is handed over, we organize construction there, currently the roadbed has been constructed 40% of the entire route.
In parallel with construction, site clearance work in Ta Khoa commune continues to be implemented. In June 2026, the locality paid more than 17.4 billion VND to 49 organizations, households, and individuals affected by the project.
For the remaining areas, functional agencies continue to complete dossiers and implement compensation, support, and resettlement steps.
In mid-August 2026, the Bac Yen Construction Investment Project Management Board in coordination with the Ta Khoa Commune People's Committee publicly announced the draft plan for compensation, support, and resettlement for the 3rd time in Ta Do village.
According to the plan, there are 41 affected cases, with more than 82,900m2 of land expected to be recovered. Compensation and support costs are more than 12.5 billion VND.
Mr. Dinh Van Khanh - Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of Ta Do village - shared that information related to land, assets and compensation plans is made public for people to follow, exchange and propose.
Mr. Nguyen Dang Thuc - Vice Chairman of Ta Khoa Commune People's Committee - informed that the locality regularly inspects the site, coordinates with the investor and contractor to handle arising problems, ensure progress, quality and safety of the project.
Currently, contractors continue to complete the ground, taking advantage of construction at locations that meet the conditions. The acceleration of items is expected to help the Yen Chau - Ta Khoa provincial road project be completed ahead of schedule in 2028.
The Yen Chau - Ta Khoa provincial road 120C project started construction in June 2025, has a length of 34.3km, a total investment of 700 billion VND, and is expected to be completed in 2028.
In which, the section from Km0 to Km16+200 (equivalent to 16.2km) is invested by Yen Chau Commune People's Committee, with a total investment of 319.7 billion VND.
The section from Km16+200 to Km34+200 (equivalent to 18.1km) is invested by Ta Khoa Commune People's Committee, with a total investment of more than 376 billion VND.
The project is expected to strengthen regional traffic connections and contribute to reducing dependence on National Highway 37.
