The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Le Anh Quan, has just agreed with the proposal of the Department of Construction on the route of the high-speed route connecting the East - West of the city and the scale of the roadbed crossing.
It is expected that the investment project to build the East-West High-Speed Road connecting the East of Hai Phong city (connecting National Highway 10 with Ring Road 1 of the old Hai Duong city) with a length of 23.5 km will start at the intersection between Ring Road I of the old Hai Duong city and the Bui Thi Xuan bridge approach road, going to the East, passing through the communes and wards of Nam Dong, Ai Quoc, Ha Tay, Thanh Ha, Ha Bac, Ha Nam, Kim Thanh, An Phong, An Duong, ending at the intersection of National Highway 10 with Nguyen Truong To street. The route is invested to meet the role and function of an urban high-speed road, with a cross-section of 68m wide, a double road, and 6 lanes.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to continue researching and proposing appropriate investment options, selecting one of the following investment methods: public investment; mobilizing investment capital in the form of BT Contracts, BT Contracts combined with the state budget or options using ODA loans. At the same time, urgently review and propose plans to adjust the planning of relevant areas to ensure closeness and synchronization, while calculating to effectively exploit land funds on both sides, promoting socio-economic development of localities with routes.
