On the morning of April 7, a serious traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1, passing through Van Thang commune (Khanh Hoa province), killing a woman riding a bicycle on the spot after colliding with a tractor-trailer.
According to initial information, at about 6:30 am on the same day, at Km 1390+770 National Highway 1, passing through Binh Trung 1 village, a tractor truck with license plate 79H-08553, pulling a trailer with license plate 79RM-00131, was traveling in the North - South direction.
During the movement, this vehicle collided with a woman riding a bicycle in the same direction. After the collision, the victim and the bicycle fell to the road and were run over by the tractor-trailer wheel, dying at the scene. The bicycle was heavily damaged.
Functional agencies were present at the scene of the accident immediately afterwards. The victim was identified as Ms. N.T. D, born in 1952, residing in Trung Dong 2 village, Van Thang commune, Khanh Hoa province.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the police agency.
