On the afternoon of June 13, the Standing Committee of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025).
Attending the meeting were Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Van Lau - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province.
At the event, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province presented certificates of merit to 18 collectives and 40 individuals who have made many positive contributions to information and propaganda work to serve the political tasks of the province in the past time. In particular, the Lao Dong Newspaper Representative Office in the Mekong Delta and a reporter permanent at Lao Dong Newspaper in Soc Trang were honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Soc Trang province also organized the handover of cooperation documents on information and propaganda with press agencies, including the Representative Office of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Mekong Delta.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Press Award also awarded the Provincial Press Award in 2025. Reporter Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, Representative Office of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Mekong Delta, won the Second Prize and the Third Prize at the Soc Trang Provincial Press Awards in 2025.
