At noon on May 30, Colonel Tran Van Duong - Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police - said that the authorities are verifying information posted by a social media account, related to the suspicion that a local food distribution system provides meat that does not ensure hygiene and safety for consumers.
Earlier, on the same morning, a social media account posted an article saying that it had worked at a meat distribution store in My Xuyen district (Soc Trang province). This person accused the store and some leaders of bringing meat to the market without ensuring quality.

According to the reflection, this system is said to be frequently "mixed" pork, chicken, even showed signs such as fruit floating, pus, stinking smell to distribute to stores sold to consumers. In addition, some expired products are considered to be required to remove labels to process again into other products such as fried rolls, sausages or sausages sold at a low price.
The poster informed that the above behavior will seriously affect public health and hoped that the authorities would investigate and strictly handle if violations were discovered.
