On July 2nd, Binh Dong Ward Police coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Police Team (PCCC&CNCH) Area 20, Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the container truck head fire.
Initial information, at about 8:45 am on the same day, a container truck was moving on Nguyen Van Linh Avenue in the direction of traffic to National Highway 1A. While going downhill, the driver suddenly detected a burning smell accompanied by smoke rising from the truck cabin.
Immediately, the driver stopped the car to the side of the road and used a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Discovering the incident, many people around the area also quickly brought fire extinguishers to support. However, because the fire broke out too quickly and strongly, in just a few minutes, the front of the container truck was engulfed in flames.
The fire occurred during rush hour, causing many passersby to worry, and vehicles had to stop from afar to ensure safety.
Upon receiving the news, Binh Dong Ward Police and the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 20 immediately arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished the fire. Currently, functional agencies are extracting camera footage to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
