On August 24, the People's Committee of Bac Trach commune (Quang Tri province) said that a passenger car fire had just occurred in the area, causing vehicles to be burned down, with estimated damage of about 2 billion VND.
According to initial information, at about 3:48 am on the same day, a passenger car with license plate 36G-00xxx, running the Saigon - Thanh Hoa route, traveling to Km634+800 National Highway 1A, passing through Tien Phong village, Bac Trach commune, caught fire.
According to Bac Trach Commune People's Committee, there were nearly 40 people on the car. The fire did not cause any casualties.
The fire caused the car to be burned down. Initial property damage is estimated at about 2 billion VND.
