At about 1 pm on May 13, a truck fire occurred in the IC3 intersection area, Hung Phu ward, Can Tho city, causing many local residents to worry.
According to initial information, the truck was traveling on National Highway 1 when it suddenly caught fire. The fire quickly flared up accompanied by a high column of black smoke, attracting many curious people to watch.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force immediately dispatched specialized fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy firefighting and ensure safety.
At the scene, functional forces cordoned off the area, regulated traffic and deployed professional measures to control the fire.
Thanks to timely handling, the fire was extinguished not long after. The incident did not cause any casualties, but the truck was damaged, and traffic through the area was affected in a short time.
