On May 7, information from Bao Ha Commune People's Committee said that functional agencies are focusing on clarifying the responsibilities of the parties involved in the truck that crushed and killed the baby boy.
Accordingly, at 1:20 PM on May 6th, a rare and tragic accident occurred in Ly 1-2 village, Bao Ha commune.
A quick report from Bao Ha Commune Police shows that at the above time, a truck with license plate 24A-415. xx driven by driver Dinh Van Th. (born 1988, residing in Chau Que commune, Lao Cai) was parked on the right side of provincial road 151C.
At the same time, Nguyen Hai D. (born 2019) was walking in the same direction as the truck. When D. just reached the location where the truck was parked, the roadside below the truck suddenly seriously subsided.
The sudden incident caused the truck to lose its center of gravity, tilt towards the guardrail, and tightly squeeze baby D. into the barrier. As a result, baby D. died at the scene.
Immediately after receiving the report, Bao Ha Commune Police coordinated with professional units (PC01), Lao Cai Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy of the area to conduct scene examination and autopsy.
The case is being investigated by functional agencies to clarify the cause of subsidence and handle it according to the provisions of law.
