On January 24, Muong Lan Border Guard Station coordinated with Muong Lan Commune People's Committee and units, businesses, and charity groups to organize the program "Border Spring Warms the Hearts of the Villagers", taking care of Tet for people in border areas.


At the program, the Organizing Committee presented hundreds of gifts to disadvantaged households and students in the area...; medical examinations and health consultations for more than 150 people.
The total value of activities is over 600 million VND.
In addition to social security work, the program also organizes many meaningful activities such as cultural and sports festivals with banh chung wrapping contests, stick pushing, con throwing, folk games to create a joyful and warm atmosphere in the days leading up to Tet.

Mr. Vi Van Bien (Cong village) emotionally said: "In the border area, there are still many difficulties, having doctors from the charity delegation come here to take care of people's health like this is very precious.

Receiving scholarships at the program, Giang Thi Hoa, a student at Muong Lan Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, shared: "I am very happy and grateful to the soldiers and philanthropists who have cared, encouraged, and helped me have more motivation to rise up in my studies.
Lieutenant Colonel Mua Lao Thang, Political Commissar of Muong Lan Border Guard Station, said that the program contributes to helping ethnic minorities in border areas celebrate Tet warmer, thereby spreading the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.


Not only having social security significance, the program is also a bridge connecting military-civilian relations, arousing the spirit of compassion, community responsibility and affirming the role of the border guard force in protecting and building a strong border area.
