The incident occurred in the early morning of October 29, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, Da Nang City Police promptly responded to the serious traffic accident that occurred on the highway.
At around 1 a.m., the passenger bus with license plate 36F-009.62 was traveling south - north, when reaching km9+540 (Dien Ban Bac area, Da Nang city), it collided strongly with the rear of a truck running in front. The collision injured 5 people on the passenger bus, the driver was trapped in the cabin.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly deployed specialized vehicles and equipment to the scene. The soldiers rescued 4 injured passengers from the vehicle safely, and used a hydraulic board device to detonate the deformed cabin front, taking the driver out in a state of serious injury.
Rescue work was carried out overnight in cold rain and slippery roads, but the authorities tried to control the situation and ensure traffic safety on the expressway.
