On the streets of central Hanoi, encountering supercar models is no longer a strange thing. However, the appearance of an Aston Martin DB9 Volante attracted special attention because this is a rare car line, the number in circulation in Vietnam is said to be no more than 4.
The highlight of the car is the dark blue fabric roof that harmoniously combines with the exterior. Notably, the owner has upgraded the appearance of the car to a new version, bringing a more powerful and modern look compared to the original.
This DB9 Volante was built in 2009 and was bought by a businessman in Hanoi in 2022. After owning the car, the owner spent nearly 3 billion VND to restore and upgrade it, a figure almost equal to the original value when buying the car. This process takes about two years to make a difference compared to other DB9 Volante.
In terms of power, the Aston Martin DB9 Volante uses a 6.0-liter V12 engine, producing 470 horsepower and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. The car comes with a 6-speed ZF Friedrichshafen Touchtronic II automatic transmission, helping to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 306 km/h.
The appearance of the Aston Martin DB9 Volante in Hanoi's Old Quarter not only shows the passion for supercars of the capital's business community, but also contributes to enriching the picture of rare luxury sports cars in Vietnam.
