On August 29, in Hanoi, the Party Central Committee Office held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision assigning and appointing Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office. The conference was held online at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat chaired the Conference to announce the Decision. Also attending were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Also attending were Party Central Committee Secretary Le Hoai Trung, Party Central Committee members: Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee Hoang Dang Quang; Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Party Central Committee Office Lam Thi Phuong Thanh; representatives of the leaders of the Central Party Committees; representatives of the Party Central Committee Office; leaders of agencies and units under the Party Central Committee Office.
At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - announced Decision No. 2289-QDNS/TW dated August 29, 2025 of the Politburo on the appointment of Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.
In his speech assigning tasks, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that based on the requirements and tasks of the work, the Politburo decided to assign and transfer Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - to cease holding the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office to take on a new assignment. At the same time, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - was appointed to the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.
On behalf of the Politburo, congratulating Mr. Pham Gia Tuc on his new responsibility, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that this is a very important task of the Party, requiring strong political will, comprehensive capacity, high sense of responsibility, dedication, and exemplary exemplary conduct.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat requested Mr. Pham Gia Tuc to continue to promote his experience, capacity, and strengths, together with the collective leadership of the Central Party Office to promote the tradition of solidarity and join hands to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the General Secretary. We hope that the comrades in the leadership team and the units of the Central Party Office will accompany, share and support close coordination so that the Chief of the Office can successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the new assignment, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc expressed his honor, joy and emotion when receiving the decision of the Politburo to assign and appoint him to the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office. He deeply recognized that this is a great honor and at the same time a heavy responsibility for the individual, no matter the circumstances, he must strive, try, and not disappoint the trust of the Party.
Taking on the task of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office in the context of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo, the Secretariat focusing on directing many major, strategic, and revolutionary decisions to develop the country quickly and sustainably; all levels and sectors are focusing on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Mr. Pham Gia Tuc expressed a very clear awareness of the role, responsibility, and trust and expectations of the General Secretary and Standing member of the Secretariat for the Party Central Committee Office.
