Updated information on September 5, Bac Ninh Police announced the list of vehicles violating traffic fines in Bac Ninh province from August 12, 2024 to August 18, 2024.
Accordingly, from August 12, 2024 to August 18, 2024, the Traffic Police force of Bac Ninh province used professional equipment to handle violations through images and sent notices to 625 vehicle owners whose vehicles violated traffic safety regulations.
Among these, many motorbikes were fined. Typical examples are as follows:
Fines for speeding with motorbikes and mopeds:
A fine of VND 300,000 to VND 400,000 shall be imposed on drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by 5 km/h to less than 10 km/h (Point c, Clause 2, Article 6, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (amended at Point k, Clause 34, Article 2, Decree 123/2021/ND-CP).
Fine from VND 800,000 to VND 1,000,000 for drivers exceeding the prescribed speed by 10 km/h to 20 km/h (Point a, Clause 4, Article 6, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (amended at Point g, Clause 34, Article 2, Decree 123/2021/ND-CP).
Fine from 4,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND for drivers driving over the prescribed speed limit by more than 20 km/h (Point a, Clause 7, Article 6, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 02 to 04 months (Point c, Clause 10, Article 6, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
Fines for speeding cars:
Fine from 800,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND for drivers exceeding the prescribed speed from 05 km/h to under 10 km/h (Point a, Clause 3, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
A fine of VND 4,000,000 to VND 6,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers exceeding the prescribed speed limit by 10 km/h to 20 km/h (Point i, Clause 5, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP, amended at Point d, Clause 34, Article 2, Decree 123/2021/ND-CP).
In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 01 to 03 months (Point b Clause 11 Article 5 Decree 100/2019/ND-CP);
Fine from 6,000,000 VND to 8,000,000 VND for drivers exceeding the prescribed speed by more than 20 km/h to 35 km/h (Point a, Clause 6, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 02 to 04 months (Point c, Clause 11, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
Fine from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND for drivers driving at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed limit by more than 35 km/h (Point c Clause 7 Article 5 Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
In addition, the driver who commits the violation will also have his/her driving license revoked for 02 to 04 months (Point c, Clause 11, Article 5, Decree 100/2019/ND-CP).
