The Ferrari 296 GTS appearing in Ho Chi Minh City has a striking yellow exterior, combined with many carbon trim details, silver 5-spoke double rims and red brake calipers creating a sporty highlight. This is also a color that Ferrari uses quite commonly besides the traditional Rosso Corsa red.
Compared to the 296 GTB coupe version, the Ferrari 296 GTS is equipped with a 3-piece electric folding hardtop, which can be opened or closed in about 14 seconds. When the roof is closed, the model maintains a seamless coupe style, while the convertible mode brings a sporty style combined with a characteristic street stroll experience.
The Ferrari 296 GTS is the second model of the Italian automaker to use a plug-in hybrid powertrain, after the SF90 Stradale. The car is equipped with a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 654 horsepower, combined with a 165 horsepower electric motor, giving a total power of 819 horsepower.
This supercar uses a 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, allowing full electric operation with a distance of about 25 km in standard conditions.
According to manufacturer specifications, the Ferrari 296 GTS is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of over 330 km/h. This is considered one of Ferrari's outstanding high-performance hybrid supercars at the present time.
