Recently, a pair of Lamborghini Huracan supercars appeared together on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, quickly attracting attention from domestic car enthusiasts. Among them, the focus is the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato - a limited edition with a rare off-road style in Vietnam, moving behind a cup green Huracan LP610-4.
Huracan Sterrato is developed by Lamborghini in the direction of combining the performance of a sports supercar and the ability to operate in many road conditions. This model has a wheelbase increased by 47 mm compared to the standard Huracan, along with an improved exit angle to increase off-road capability.
The exterior of the car has also been refined with details such as protective plastic trim around the wheel crevices, a newly designed front bumper and a LED headlight system placed at the front of the car. The body is expanded both in front and rear to increase stability when operating.
Providing power for the Huracan Sterrato is a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, producing 610 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 260 km/h.
In the off-road sports car segment, Huracan Sterrato is directly competing with Porsche 911 Dakar - a limited car model of 2,560 units worldwide and has now also appeared in the Vietnamese market through official imports.
Besides Sterrato, the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 appearing with the car convoy also received much attention thanks to its striking paint color. This is one of the more popular variants of the Huracan line in Vietnam thanks to the use of full-time 4-wheel drive.
Huracan LP610-4 is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine, producing a maximum power of 610 horsepower and a maximum torque of 560 Nm. The car uses a 7-speed automatic transmission, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.2 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 325 km/h.
The Lamborghini Huracan is the successor to the Gallardo and recorded sales of more than 14,000 vehicles in the first 10 years since its launch. To date, the total global sales of this car line have exceeded 20,000 units with many different performance versions.
In Vietnam, Lamborghini Huracan is brought home with many variants such as LP610-4, LP580-2, STO, Tecnica or EVO RWD, serving the diverse needs of the domestic supercar industry.
