Recently, the National Assembly passed a resolution on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units, reducing from 63 provinces and cities to 34. Thus, after 34 provinces and cities are expected to operate from July 1, the license plates of the provinces will be a collection of license plates before the merger.

For cars registered after July 1, there are currently no new instructions from the authorities on which license plate to use.
