Previously, the Traffic Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police announced that vehicles violating road traffic were detected through the security, order and traffic safety surveillance camera system in the area from August 11, 2025 to August 20, 2025. The police note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND).

The police requested violators to go to the police headquarters where the fine was detected or to the police station where they resided to resolve the violation according to regulations.
