In the inner city of Hanoi, many cases of not wearing helmets and running red lights have been recorded by AI cameras for remote fine handling.

Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security, in 24 hours (from 7:00 AM on May 21st to 7:00 AM on May 22nd, 2026), the AI camera system on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway and intersections in Hanoi managed by the unit has detected 146 cases of vehicle violations.

In which, at the Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi intersection (Hanoi), the AI camera system recorded 98 cases of motorbike drivers not wearing helmets; 47 cases of running red lights (including 46 motorbikes, 1 car).

In addition, people's feedback channels through social networks Facebook, Zalo and the VNeTraffic application continue to be effective. Accordingly, through Facebook, the Traffic Police Department received 189 feedback messages; Zalo received 18 feedback messages; VNeTraffic received 360 feedback messages.

According to the Traffic Police Department, the information provided by people has supported functional forces to promptly detect and handle violations, contributing to raising the awareness of law compliance of traffic participants.
