According to a report by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), the car market in Vietnam in July 2024 continued to prosper when sales recorded a growth of 9% compared to June and 17% compared to the same period in 2023. In particular, the top best-selling car models have impressive growth.
The ranking of the best-selling car models in the Vietnamese market has had a certain disturbance.
Leading sales in July 2024 is still the Toyota brand with 6,479 vehicles delivered to customers, an increase of 25.1% compared to June (5,178 vehicles). Among them, Vios continues to be the company's mainstay with 1,745 cars chosen by consumers.
The second position continues to be held by Hyundai with 5,329 cars sold, an increase of 5.6% compared to 5,047 cars in June. The "god" that contributed the most to Hyundai's victory this time is still the Accent. with 985 vehicles leaving the dealership.
The change in ranking started from 3rd place when Mitsubishi had a strong rise with 3,835 cars sold, an increase of 32% compared to the previous month. Mitsubishi's two products Xforce and Xpander continuously appear in the top best-selling car models in Vietnam.
Mitsubishi's strong growth pushed Ford down to 4th place with 3,150 units delivered to customers, down 5% compared to June. This decrease mainly comes from the flagship product Ranger when the number of cars sold Sales in July reached 1,276 vehicles, down 11.5% month-on-month.
