Hanoi - The city has 2 more electric bus routes, route No. 11 and route No. 12.

Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) announced that from May 22, the unit will continue to implement the green transformation roadmap and improve the quality of public passenger transport services, and units under the Corporation will put electric buses into operation on some bus routes.

Specifically, Hanoi Bus Enterprise put into operation 14 electric buses on route No. 11 (Thong Nhat Park - Agricultural Academy); Tan Dat Center put into operation 16 electric buses on route No. 12 (Nghia Do Park - Khanh Ha, Thuong Tin).

The new vehicle fleet uses the characteristic green color, bearing the Hanoibus brand identity with peace bird and Khue Van Cac motifs on the body of the vehicle, contributing to building a modern, friendly and civilized public transport image.

The car is equipped with synchronous amenities to serve passengers such as a low floor for convenient boarding and dropping, assistive devices for people with disabilities and many modern equipment to improve service quality and service experience.

With the addition of vehicles on the two bus routes mentioned above, the total number of electric buses put into operation by the Corporation from the beginning of 2026 to date has increased to 281 vehicles, further affirming Transerco's determination to implement the green transformation roadmap, reduce emissions and develop sustainable public passenger transport in 2026 and the following phases.
