The total amount of money paid by the winning bidder to the collection account of the Traffic Police Department to pay to the state budget is more than 2,723.1 billion VND.
Some of the submitted plates include: 51K - 888.88: 15,265,000,000 VND; 30K - 555.55: 14,495,000,000 ; 11A - 111.11: 8,780,000,000; 72A - 777.77: 6,850,000,000; 88A - 666.66: 6,705,000,000; 36A - 999.99: 5,285,000,000; 22A - 222.22: 5,130,000,000; 30K - 899.99: 4,655,000,000; 99A - 666.66: 4,270,000,000 VND.
Previously, on June 27, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, effective from January 1, 2025.
This includes regulations on auctioning license plates, contributing to the effective exploitation of public assets such as license plates, creating revenue for the State budget; Invest in a system of facilities for registration and issuance of license plates;
Reform administrative procedures, create favorable conditions for the people; ensure the issuance of license plates publicly, transparently and in accordance with the law; All people have equal rights in choosing license plates to participate in the auction.
In the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, the National Assembly assigned the Government to detail a number of contents on license plate auctions, including regulations on auctioning license plates for business activities. transport (yellow background, white letters and numbers) and motorbikes and mopeds.
The Ministry of Public Security is coordinating with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Finance to focus on developing a Decree to submit to the Government on license plate auctions.
