Round traffic signs
With the characteristics of colors, drivers can easily identify which circular signs belong to the group of prohibited signs, which signs belong to the group of command signs. Specifically:
- Red or blue-backed round-etat signs are signs prohibiting participation in traffic, denoting things that are not allowed to be violated.
- Round blue signs, white drawings are signs that denounce orders, representing orders that traffic participants are required to comply with.
Triangle-shaped traffic signs
Triangle traffic signs are signs belonging to the group of warning signs and warning signs, installed on the road to inform traffic participants about the danger or things to avoid on the road.
Square traffic signs

Obsessed traffic signs
According to QCVN Regulation 41:2019/BGTVT, the shape- shape traffic signs include 02 types of signs: sign I.401 "Starting priority roads" and sign I.402 "end of priority roads".
- License plate I.401 "Starting priority roads" states that vehicles traveling on this section of the road are given priority to go first through the intersection.
- License plate I.402 "end of priority road", informs drivers that the priority road section has ended in advance.
