The Traffic Police Department, An Giang Provincial Police announced the list of vehicles that will be fined from May 1, 2025 to May 9, 2025.
In which, the violation: "Driving on the wrong side of the road"; the violating location at km 61, National Highway 91, My Binh Ward, Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province is as follows:
Fines of VND 600,000 - 800,000 for drivers who violate the law by changing lanes in the wrong places or without warning signals or changing lanes incorrectly according to the regulation "each lane change is only allowed to change to one adjacent lane".
If the car driver drives in the wrong lane and causes a traffic accident, he/she will be fined 20-22 million VND and have 10 points deducted from his/her driving license. With the above penalty, drivers need to pay close attention to the mistake of driving in the wrong lane and not complying with signs and road markings.
When paying the fine, the car driver must prepare the following documents: Vehicle registration, certificate of technical safety inspection and environmental protection, driver's license of the violator, citizen identification card of the violator (photocopy 1 copy of each type of document).
