Prime Minister appoints 2 Major Generals and 8 Colonels to new positions

The Prime Minister has issued decisions to appoint 2 Major Generals, 1 Rear Admiral, and 8 Colonels to new positions.

On May 18, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed the Decisions to appoint personnel of the Ministry of National Defense.

In Decision No. 961/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Doan Xuan Vuong - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 - to hold the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

In Decision No. 962/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Luong Dinh Chung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5 - to hold the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 5.

In Decision No. 958/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Le Van Trung - Political Commissar of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, Military Region 4 - to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

In Decision No. 959/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Duong Van Quang - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 1 - to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 1.

In Decision No. 960/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Tran Xuan Manh - Commander of the Lang Son Provincial Military Command, Military Region 1 - to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 1.

In Decision No. 963/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Tran Minh Trong - Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Military Command, Military Region 5 - to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 5.

In Decision No. 964/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Dam Minh Tuan - Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command, Military Region 1 - to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 1.

In Decision No. 965/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Chi Tam - Deputy Chief of the Political Department of Military Region 7 - to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7.

In Decision No. 966/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Rear Admiral Le Ba Quan - Commander of Naval Region 2, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy.

In Decision No. 967/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel Tran Ngoc Minh - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7 - to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 7.

In Decision No. 968/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Colonel To Thanh Quyet - Commander of the Military Command of Hung Yen Province, Military Region 3 - to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 3.

According to the above Decisions, the term of appointment is 5 years. The above Decisions take effect from the date of signing and promulgation on May 18, 2025.
