The Circular stipulates the registration symbols of domestic cars, motorbikes, and specialized motorbikes, as follows:

Accordingly, from July 1, the new license plates of Ho Chi Minh City will include the symbols: 41.50, 51 to 59, 61, 72. Vehicles with this license plate symbol that have not paid the fine after July 1 can be carried out at the new Ho Chi Minh City Police.
Lam Dong Police said that from June 15 to July 10, 2025, the police will fine many owners of vehicles with new HCMC license plates for the following violations:

Previously, the Traffic Police Department, Tay Ninh Provincial Police announced a list of vehicles violating traffic safety order in the area from June 11 to July 4. These include vehicles with Ho Chi Minh City license plates ( marked) as follows:

The Ministry of Public Security said that traffic violators can go to the traffic police department where people live or where they are found to be violating to resolve fines.
However, the Traffic Police Department informed that currently, people are gathering at the headquarters to handle violations of fines in large numbers, some places are overloaded and people have to wait a long time.
To create the most favorable conditions for people, without having to wait and travel far, the Traffic Police Department recommends:
People proactively look for fines. If there is a violation, people need to go to the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle it, should not go to the place where the violation was discovered in another locality, which is both overloading the authorities and requiring long trips.
The information that needs support is to be requested for people to send information about violations, the place of detection of violations, addresses and contact phone numbers to the mailbox of the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department under the Traffic Police Department for specific instructions.
