Information from the Traffic Police Department, on February 14, due to the increased traffic volume on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2, Room 6, Traffic Police Department continuously warned VOVGT channel and mass media that it would coordinate with the Traffic Command Center to strictly handle cases of intentionally driving in the emergency stop lane.
However, many drivers ignored the warnings and still drove their vehicles into the emergency stop lane on the Hanoi - Hai Phong highway.
Right in the afternoon of February 14, Team 2 notified 2 bus companies requesting to invite drivers to drive passenger cars with license plates 15G-000.xx and 15F-004. xx, to headquarters to make a record of administrative violations for the act of "driving vehicles in the emergency stop lane of the expressway" and sent remote fine notices to 7 cases.
According to regulations, for this violation, each driver is fined 5,000,000 VND, minus 2 points on the driver's license.
