People should note that Circular No. 51/2025/TT-BCA amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 79/2024/TT-BCA of the Minister of Public Security regulating the issuance and revocation of vehicle registration certificates, license plates for motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes takes effect from July 1, 2025.
Accordingly, from July 1st, newly licensed vehicles in Ho Chi Minh City include symbols: 41,50, 51 to 59, 61, 72.

If they violate, people should go to units under the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle them, and should not go to the location where violations are detected in other localities, which is both overloading for functional forces and requires long travel.
