The Porsche 918 Spyder is a rare supercar, worth millions of USD, and the number of records in Vietnam can be counted on the fingers.
The notable feature is the green exterior, different from those previously known in Vietnam. This has sparked many conflicting opinions in the community. Some people think that this may be a newly imported car, while many other opinions say that this is just a color-changed product through artwork, or even edited images.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is developed with plug-in hybrid technology, a combination of a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine and two electric motors. This system produces a total capacity of 881 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,280 Nm.
The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 345 km/h. The vehicle uses a 6.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, allowing it to operate about 19 km in full-power mode.
The popularity of the green 918 Spyder has further fueled discussions in the supercar enthusiast community. Although it is not yet clear whether this is a new car or just the result of exterior changes, the incident shows the special appeal of this hypercar line in Vietnam.
