The Gumball 3000 World Supercar Tour will take place in Ho Chi Minh City this weekend (September 14). Currently, the organization is being accelerated. All participating cars have been gathered in Di An (Binh Duong province). However, some cars are still parked at hotels in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City).
Recently, a super luxury SUV Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a license plate from Sharjah city (UAE) was spotted rolling in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is the first car participating in the Gumball 3000 journey to be seen running on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, and this quickly created curiosity among passersby.
Number plates starting with single digits from 1 to 9 are very popular in Middle Eastern countries. In 2008, a number plate with the number 1 in Abu Dhabi was even paid for by UAE businessman Saeed Abdul Ghaffar Khouri for up to 14.2 million USD.
It is known that the super luxury SUV Rolls-Royce Cullinan with UAE license plate number 1 after rolling in Ho Chi Minh City parked at a luxury hotel on Nguyen Hue Street.
According to the list announced by Gumball 3000, there are 8 Rolls-Royce cars registered to attend including 4 Cullinan, 1 Dawn, 2 Wraiths and 1 Silver Shadow.
Of these, 2 Silver Shadow pickup trucks and Dawn are already in Vietnam.
Gumball 3000 also said that former Manchester United and French national team player Patrice Evra will join the Gumball 3000 journey in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan luxury SUV, but it is not clear which car.
