On November 20, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police) has just issued a fine for a female driver driving a car in a state of violating a very high alcohol concentration, after receiving timely report from the people.
According to initial information, on the evening of November 18, people discovered a woman after consuming alcohol at a restaurant still driving a car with license plate 61K-275.xx traveling on DT.741 (through Dong Phu commune). Assessing that this behavior poses a potential risk of causing traffic accidents, people have reported it to the authorities.

Immediately afterwards, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 deployed a working group, organized checkpoints, and reviewed the routes to promptly stop the vehicles for inspection. At 9:56 p.m. the same day, the Traffic Police stopped the vehicle and measured the alcohol concentration of female driver C.T.D. (32 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City).
The inspection results showed that the driver had an alcohol concentration of 0.530 mg/liter of breath, which was a violation exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath - the highest level prescribed by current law. Working with the authorities, Ms. D. admitted that she had previously drunk alcohol with a friend at a restaurant and subjectively thought that the motel was nearby so she drove home by herself.
Pursuant to Point a, Clause 11, Article 6, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, drivers of cars with the highest alcohol concentration will be fined from 30 to 40 million VND and have their driving licenses revoked for 22 to 24 months. This is also a " frame" penalty for driving in a state of violating very high alcohol concentration.
