According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Truyen - Director of the Center for Disease Control of Binh Dinh province, recently, the COVID-19 epidemic has been on the rise in some countries such as China, Thailand, and Singapore. In Vietnam, cases have been recorded in some localities.
In Binh Dinh alone, since the beginning of the year, no cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. However, as the summer vacation is approaching, travel and tourism demand is increasing, many places are crowded, and the risk of disease spread is also increasing.
"To proactively prevent and control the epidemic, we have directed local health facilities to strengthen disease monitoring and prevention measures. Currently, the epidemic situation is still well controlled, and no cases have been detected in the area," said Mr. Truyen.
