Information from Da Nang City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi has just chaired a meeting with relevant departments, branches, and units to deploy the work of receiving Quang Nam Central General Hospital from the Ministry of Health to the City People's Committee for management.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee acknowledged the proactiveness of departments, branches, and units in preparing procedures to serve the work of receiving and transferring hospitals. At the same time, assigned the Da Nang Department of Health to urgently transfer the entire content and forms by field to relevant units to coordinate in reviewing, summarizing and giving opinions.
On that basis, the Department of Health is responsible for fully and truthfully summarizing and reporting to the City People's Committee before 7 pm on January 13th for the City People's Committee to send to the Ministry of Health to request opinions, exchange, and unify.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to coordinate with units under the Ministry of Health to organize the Conference on handover of Quang Nam Central General Hospital to ensure solemnity, efficiency, and economy. At the same time, chair and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance and related units to receive personnel, assets, finance, facilities and related dossiers and documents of the hospital, to be completed before January 30.
In addition, the Department of Health advises on completing the dossier requesting the reception of Quang Nam Central General Hospital and renaming it Vietnam-Korea Friendship Hospital Da Nang; submitting to the City People's Committee a draft Decision on reception, renaming and Decision stipulating the functions, tasks, and powers of the hospital after transfer.
Departments, branches, and related units, based on their assigned functions and tasks, proactively coordinate with the Department of Health to implement the contents of receiving and transferring, ensuring progress, in accordance with regulations and requirements of the City People's Committee.
According to the report at the meeting, the reception of Quang Nam Central General Hospital was carried out according to the principle of receiving the original state, ensuring compliance with the Party's and State's policies and legal regulations. The contents of the reception include all functions, tasks, organizational structure, personnel, finance, assets, equipment, funds, professional activities and related dossiers and documents at the time of handover.
The state budget estimate for 2025 assigned to Quang Nam Central General Hospital continues to be implemented and finalized with the Ministry of Health according to regulations; data on personnel organization, finance, and assets are finalized until the end of December 31, 2025. The transfer is expected to be completed before January 31, 2026, ensuring stable and continuous operation of medical examination and treatment, meeting the health care needs of the city's people and the South Central Coast region.
At the meeting, delegates also discussed and proposed a number of contents related to the official operating time, the change of hospital name, personnel organization, finance - assets, expertise, Party and mass organization work and other related issues.
