During the National Day holiday of September 2nd, behind the relaxing atmosphere of the people are hospital duty shifts still maintained 24/24 hours. From the emergency department, treatment departments to the extrahospital emergency team, medical staff are fully arranged, ready to receive patients and handle arising situations.

On-duty team ready on holiday

At the Transport Hospital, duty during National Day is maintained continuously. The hospital arranges 4 levels of duty including leaders, specialists, administration - logistics and security.

At departments and rooms, personnel are assigned to each position, ensuring that medical examination and treatment activities are not interrupted. On-duty teams maintain communication, ready to handle situations arising during people's holidays.

Specialist Doctor II Bui Hong Giang - Deputy Director, Head of Emergency Department of Transport Hospital said that in addition to the on-duty force at the hospital, the unit maintains an extra-hospital emergency team throughout the holiday.

Manpower, vehicles, medicines and medical equipment are fully prepared so that emergency teams can quickly set off when receiving information about traffic accidents, labor accidents or emergency incidents in the area.

According to Dr. Giang, along with being ready to receive new emergency cases, the hospital still has to maintain care, monitoring and continuous treatment for inpatients.

Arranging mobile emergency teams at the fireworks display site

At Thanh Nhan Hospital, medical staff and doctors are also assigned to be on duty in clinical and paraclinical departments along with supplies and pharmaceutical departments.

Emergency duty positions are fully arranged, ensuring that the hospital can receive and treat patients in all situations. Out-of-hospital emergency teams are maintained to provide support when incidents occur in residential areas or on roads.

In addition, the hospital pharmacy system still arranges personnel to be on duty during the holidays, ensuring that the dispensing of medicine to inpatients and people in need is not interrupted.

Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Van Phuoc - in charge of the General Planning Department, Thanh Nhan Hospital said that the hospital has developed a full duty plan, in which special attention is paid to the emergency force.

Notably, during the National Day holiday, Thanh Nhan Hospital arranged a mobile emergency team to serve medical work in the fireworks display area at Thong Nhat Park.
