Proactively increase the provision of information on the epidemic situation and guidance on measures to prevent and control monkeypox to information and communication agencies; strengthen the organization of inspection, supervision and direction of epidemic prevention and control work in localities.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested the Central Airport Authority, Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang Maritime Port Authority, Da Nang Port and other relevant agencies to advise passengers, officials and employees to fully apply measures to prevent and control monkeypox as recommended by the Ministry of Health.
At the same time, coordinate with health quarantine agencies to carry out international health quarantine according to regulations, closely monitor entrants to promptly detect suspected cases, infected cases, people with a history of coming from epidemic areas, promptly detect and quarantine according to regulations.
Conduct regular and periodic cleaning at stations, ports, public areas at border gates... with disinfectant solutions; arrange adequate disinfectant solutions or hand sanitizers in areas, toilets, and public areas.
The Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee requested the Department of Tourism to direct tourism service providers and businesses and accommodation establishments to promptly notify local health agencies of suspected cases of monkeypox (especially suspected cases coming from countries with epidemics) to the Department of Health to direct coordination in monitoring and organizing disease prevention and control activities.
The People's Committees of districts and towns direct the People's Committees of communes, wards, departments, branches, and local organizations, and the Population - Health - Children Collaborators to closely coordinate with the health sector in community surveillance, early detection, information, reporting, and timely implementation of measures to handle, intervene, control, and prevent monkeypox.
At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of measures to prevent and control monkeypox in the area.
