400-bed Oncology Center in Dak Lak is about to operate

Dak Lak - The 400-bed Oncology Center will be put into operation to meet the cancer treatment needs of people in the Central Highlands.

The Central Highlands General Hospital (Dak Lak) is about to put the Oncology Center into operation.

The center has a scale of 400 beds, to meet the needs of examination and treatment of oncology for people in the Central Highlands.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Giap, Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital, said that the Oncology Center is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2025.

Currently, the construction work is basically completed. The hospital is waiting to purchase equipment to put the center into operation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dang Giap, when put into operation, the Oncology Center will conduct specialized specialties on oncology such as: Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine.

Previously, in 2021, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council decided to invest in the Project to upgrade the Oncology Department to an Oncology Center under the Central Highlands General Hospital with a scale of 400 beds.

The project started in 2021, expected to end in 2025 with a total investment of over 630 billion VND.

The project is invested by the Dak Lak Province Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
