Young man arrested for posting sensitive clip humiliating ex-girlfriend

    Knowing that his ex-girlfriend was about to get married, a young man in Quang Nam released a sensitive clip secretly filmed between the two to defame her honor.

    On October 16, Phu Ninh District Police (Quang Nam Province) temporarily detained suspect Le Van Tu (23 years old, residing in Tam Dan Commune, Phu Ninh District) for the crimes of humiliating others and fraud to appropriate property.

    In 2023, when Tu and Ms. H (from the same hometown) were still in love, Tu secretly used his phone to record a sensitive clip between the two.

    After breaking up, knowing that Ms. H was about to get married, in May 2024, Tu sent this sensitive clip to many people in the family and the family of his ex-lover's future husband to humiliate her.

    In addition to humiliating others, the defendant Tu also created many Facebook accounts providing fake information about selling mai hoa thung accessories and lion dance drums to defraud many people in many provinces and cities in order to appropriate property.
