On December 19, Dien Ban Town Police, Quang Nam Province announced that they had successfully broken up a case and arrested M.V.V. (born in 2006, registered in Dai Phu Village, Dai Nghia Commune, Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province, currently residing in Thanh An Village, Dien Hong Commune, Dien Ban Town) for the crime of "Sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old".
Previously, through reconnaissance work and monitoring the situation on cyberspace, Dien Ban Town Police discovered on Facebook a sensitive clip of two young men and women was being circulated.
Through verification, the man's Facebook account was owned by M.V.V, so he was summoned and questioned.
At the investigation agency, before the documents and evidence of the police agency, M.V.V. confessed that he had used his Facebook account to message several girls under 16 years old many times to get to know them, make plans to go out, and then go to a motel to have sex.
During the sexual intercourse, M.V.V. used her phone to record the clip and spread it on the internet.
According to the investigation agency, M.V.V. has no job, often rents rooms or motels for a few days and then moves to another place. Some victims also do not have a correct understanding of the subject's criminal behavior and the consequences it causes to themselves.
Currently, the police are criminally detaining M.V.V. for further investigation and clarification.
