Previously, Bac Tra My District Police received a complaint from Ms. T.H.O. (residing in Tra My town, Bac Tra My district) about being defrauded of 400 million VND by Huynh Ngoc Nguyen (born in 1995, residing in Phuong Dong village, Tra Dong commune, Bac Tra My district).
Through professional measures, the police determined that Nguyen had used fraudulent methods in the form of buying and selling land to appropriate money to pay debts, spend personally and play with virtual money.
The subject was discovered and arrested while hiding in Ho Chi Minh City. Through the struggle, Nguyen admitted to his crime.
The case is being further investigated and handled by Bac Tra My District Police according to the provisions of law.
