On June 7, Nam Dinh Provincial Police informed that the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police is temporarily detaining 4 subjects for disturbing public order. The cause of the incident stemmed from a dispute over a route between the two bus companies.
According to the police, Mr. Lam Van T (born in 1977; residing in Hai Hung commune, Hai Hau district, owner of H.H bus) and Tran Van Hoach (born in 1988, residing in Nghia Phu commune, Nghia Hung district, owner of T.A bus) had a conflict over the passenger route.
Previously, at around 2:45 p.m. on June 4, Mr. T was traveling on a passenger car with license plate 17F-000.56 to an area in Liem Hai commune, Truc Ninh district when Tran Van Hoach and 3 young men traveling on a car approached him and suddenly stopped in front of a passenger car.
After forcing a passenger car to stop in the middle of the road, Tran Van Hoach and 3 young men went to get off the car, standing in front of the passenger car, with words of vulgar cursing, threatening Lam Van T. when the passenger car was open, Tran Van Hoach also snatched the passenger car, breaking and throwing down the roadside.
After about 10 minutes, the passenger car continued moving towards Nam Dinh City. Tran Van Hoach and his accomplices continued driving the car to chase, squeeze the car and block the passenger car from stopping in Nam Hong commune, Nam Truc district. Tran Van Hoach also crossed the road in front of a passenger car to prevent it from moving. When the passenger car approached him, Tran Van Hoach stood up. The behavior of Tran Van Hoat's group obstructed and caused prolonged traffic congestion.
As soon as the incident was received, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with the Liem Hai Commune Police to investigate and clarify.
On June 5, the Criminal Police Department temporarily detained Tran Van Hoach, Dinh Sy Duong (born in 1987; residing in Tan Thinh commune, Nam Truc district), Mai Van Chinh (born in 1994; residing in Nghia Hai commune, Nghia Hung district) and Doan Van Chuyen (born in 1986; residing in Quy Nhat town, Nghia Hung district) for disturbing public order.
