The jury determined that the remaining common assets of Ms. T and Mr. Bao are about 43 billion VND. Ms. T only received 30% of this asset, worth 7.8 billion VND. Mr. Bao received 70% of the remaining assets, equivalent to about 18.3 billion VND. Regarding common debt, Mr. Bao and Ms. T jointly paid the debt of 18 billion VND, each person paid 50%.
According to Ms. T, with this first instance verdict, Ms. T is not only empty-handed but also has a debt of nearly 3 billion VND after 12 years of marriage.
In particular, with 2 plots of land at Street 2.9, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City, Ms. T disagreed with the court's conclusion that this is Mr. Bao's private property. Ms. T sent evidence in the form of text messages between Ms. T, Mr. Bao and Mr. Bao's sister about exchanging land on Road 3.2 (Da Nang City) worth 90 billion VND to get the above 2 plots of land but it was still not recognized as land. common property. In addition, Ms. T also disagreed with the ratio of dividing the remaining assets.
“Mr. Bao and I's assets during our time together were earned by our business and construction. I always acknowledge and appreciate the financial support from Mr. Bao's parents, but that support is limited, not total. The 2 plots of land on Street 2.9 are not Mr. Bao's personal property and I also disagree with the court's decision to give Mr. Bao 70% of the remaining property, I only get 30% for the reason that most of the property is It was given to me by Mr. Bao's parents" - Ms. T said.
It is known that the appeal hearing of Ms. T and Mr. Bao's divorce dispute will take place on August 28.
