Regarding the railway accident that occurred on the evening of June 7 in Thuong Tin commune (Hanoi), the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police informed that, through inspection, both train drivers and truck drivers did not violate alcohol concentration and were negative for drugs.
The initial cause was determined to be that the truck driver did not comply with railway signals, driving the vehicle over the level crossing barrier when the barrier was moving to prevent vehicles serving trains from passing.
Currently, Road Traffic Police Team No. 8 - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police is coordinating with Thuong Tin Commune Police and People's Procuracy of Area 11 to verify, investigate, and resolve the case according to the provisions of law.

As previously reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at about 8 pm on June 7, at Km14+700 Van Dien - Thuong Tin section (Hanoi), a railway traffic accident occurred between passenger train SE19 running from Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City and a truck with license plate 30B-542. XX.
At that time, train SE19 was driven by Mr. Nguyen X.H (born 1990, residing in Hanoi). The truck was driven by Mr. Ngo M.C (born 1993, residing in Bao Loc 2 ward, Lam Dong province).
The incident occurred when the truck was moving from National Highway 1A, crossing the railway to enter the inter-communal road in Nhi Khe village.


The accident caused the locomotive of the SE19 train to be damaged and unable to continue operating. A railway traffic light pole was also damaged, while the truck's right side was deformed, sand on the truck bed fell onto the road and buried many motorbikes parked next to it. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene to organize an examination, investigate the cause of the incident and statistics of damage.
